  • 120g poached Outside Flat

Noodle Salad

  • 1 packet soba noodles, pre cooked and chilled
  • 1 large red chilli, sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas, chopped
  • 1 zucchini, shaved into ribbons
  • 1 carrot, shaved into ribbons
  • 2 tablespoons chilli oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil


Step 01

Pre-heat the oven to 170deg 

Step 02

Place a heavy based pot on the heat and add 1 tablespoon of tallow or oil

Step 03

Sear off all sides of the outside flat until golden brown.

Step 04

Pour hot stock over meat.

Step 05

Cover pot with a lid or aluminium foil and braise in the oven for 3-4 hours or until fork tender.

Step 06

Slice beef and set aside

Step 07

In a bowl, toss all remaining ingredients and add the sliced beef

Step 08

Serve in a bowl and garnish with sesame seeds
